Installation Guide
Step 1: Begin
by deciding if you would like a fixed or swivel bipod. After deciding, install
either the fixed or swivel bipod collar halves in the assembly.
Note: If the collar haves were used, place the O-ring into the groove on the
top side of the mounting bracket.
Step 2: Next,
Install the yoke assembly over the post on the mounting bracket and align (2)
pins on the bottom of the yoke with the holes in the fixed bipod collar or in
open area between the swivel collar halves.
Step 3:
Install the washer over the post and secure with the pink pre-coated #10 x ¾”
sheet metal screw using a phillips head screwdriver.
Note: The fixed bipod will use the washer with the counterbore top, and the swivel
bipod will use the washer with the flat top.
Step 4: Next
you will begin to install the left and right legs by inserting the post on the
leg into the hole on the yoke. Using a phillips head screwdriver secure the
left and right legs to the yoke with the leg mounting washers and the #10 x ¾”
sheet metal screws.
Step 5: Begin
by installing the #10-32 x ¼ set screw into the bottom of the ½” x 20 x 1 1/8
mounting column with the supplied allen wrench until flush with the bottom of
the mounting column.
Step 6: Place
the ½ x 20 x 1 1/8 mounting column over the front sling swivel. Align the
swivel stud through the hole with the mounting column hole; then install and
center the retaining pin.
Step 7:
Tighten the set screw which you installed in step 2 and then install the new
10-32 x 5/16” threaded sling swivel stud and tighten.
Step 8: Align
and install bipod over the mounting column with the legs parallel to the barrel
and pointing toward the muzzle. (Depress the “Snap-N-Lock” button and rotate
the legs 180 degrees).
Step 9: Place
the mounting column washer over the mounting column.
Step 10:
Install the ½ x 20 thin nut onto the column and hand tighten, plus ¼ turn
maximum to complete the installation. Failure to follow this procedure could
result in damage to the stock. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
Step 11: To
install the bipod on a polymer forend begin by removing the lower handguard.
Step 12:
Insert the 10-32 x ¾” round bipod barrel nut threaded adapter through the hole
in the lower handguard.
Step 13:
Align and install the 10-32 x 5/16” sling swivel stud. Next, reinstall the
lower handguard.
