One of the first knives to feature a Compression Lock, the Vesuvius, designed by custom knife-maker Frank Centofante is an attractive yet practical everyday carry. This new locking system from Spyderco is poised to raise the bar in the knife world and the established concept of simple, reliable hard-use lock strength. The handle is a serviceable and attractive black FRN with gripping grooves accented by a silver bug and teams up with a hollow-ground ATS-34 steel blade.
