The #2470 S&K VZ24 Sniper mount is designed to slide onto the dovetail bases of the VZ24 sniper receiver. Simply position the S&K base with bottom widest tapered dovetail facing forward, then place the S&K mount with each dovetail just behind the dovetail bases on the receiver. Slide the mount forward onto the dovetail bases on the rifle. Tap forward with your hand & install the 10-32 x 5/16 socket set screw. The mount will self tighten from the recoil of the rifle.
