Wilson Combat checkered mainspring housing is fully machined from bar stock with real cut checkering. These high-quality housings are a drop-in upgrade for handguns with cast of polymer housings and the same parts used in Wilson Combat custom guns.

Rule of thumb: a shooter with average sized hands would do best with a flat mainspring housing and a long trigger. Someone with an extra-large hand should use an arched mainspring housing and long trigger combination and people with very small hands should use a flat mainspring housing with a short trigger.

Minor fitting may be required in some guns.
