Product Description
Buffer Technologies recoil buffers are used to reduce parts wear and recoil of your firearms. These polymer recoil buffers prevent the metal-on-metal impact of a bolt or slide from impacting the frame while firing. They are made from Estane 58130, which is not affected by common firearm cleaners, making them last for hundreds of rounds.
The Beretta 92/96 recoil buffer includes a stainless-steel guide rod with a slide bushing. The guide rod and slide bushing are made from a high carbon stainless steel, which has a hardness of 48-52 Rockwell. This guide rod and buffer reduces felt recoil, enhances muzzle control, and lengthens service life. The guide rod and buffer will fit both the 92 and 96 series of Beretta handguns.
Installation is simple: slide the bushing into the guide rod hole in the slide and swap your old guide rod for the new one, complete with buffer. When you pull the slide to the rear, the slide contacts the buffer before it impacts the frame.
Note: This buffer will only work in the full-size variants of the Models 92 and 96. It also works in the Taurus 92/96.
**We have been advised by customers that this recoil buffer will not fit the 92x
