The Enhanced Trigger Guard is a non-folding black anodized drop-in replacement for the AR15/M4 weapons platform.

It features a shallow "V" shape for better use of gloves in tactical shooting or winter operations.

The Enhanced Trigger Guard has an ergonomic and enlarged design to accommodate use with gloves or when shooting in cold environments and fills the annoying “gap” at the rear of the standard trigger guard.

Some AR10/SR25 style of rifles may require some slight modifications to the Trigger Guard for proper fit.

 

                Enhanced Trigger Guard Installation Instructions

Step 1: Remove Existing Trigger Guard

Take care to avoid damaging the receiver.

Using a 1/8” punch, depress the front detent spring and rotate the trigger guard down, clear of the receiver. Using the same punch, drive out the rear roll pin and completely remove the trigger guard.

Step 2: Fit Enhanced Trigger Guard

Place the Enhanced Trigger Guard into the receiver. Check the fit and hole alignment.

Step 3: Install Hardware

Verify the hole alignment is correct before proceeding. While supporting the underside of the receiver tab, carefully drive in the rear roll pin using a 1/8” punch.

Using a 1/16” hex key, slowly hand tighten the front set screw until it is flush with the receiver tab.

Take care not to over tighten the set screw, as it can result in damage to the trigger guard.

Step 4: Verify Installation

Perform final inspection including function check per US Army TM 9-1005-319-23&P Unite and Direct Support Maintenance Manual (3-97) to verify correct installation.

Always test fire your weapon before using it in an operational environment.
