The AR-15 Bore Stay (.223) locks into the barrel of the M16 and AR-15 prior to cleaning with "Locking Lugs". The extension holds the guide while cleaning to protect the inside of the cartridge seat. The Bore Stay fits snuggly and won't pull out when you push and pull on the cleaning rod. It has a Delrin body, aluminum guide, and is 8 1/2" long.

The large polymer cylinder contains a solvent hole for adding your cleaning solvent without having to pull the cleaning brush all the way out. An O-ring chamber seal keeps the solvent from leaking into the lower receiver.

Normal cleaning can nick and scratch your receiver and cartridge seat. The Bore Stay eliminates this danger.
