No drilling, tapping or major alteration. Guaranteed to hold zero. Can be removed and reinstalled easily. Includes 1" fully machined, horizontally split scope rings and is windage adjustable. Made in the USA of top grade military allan
aircraft aluminum.
Installation instructions for the German M-43 or G-43
1. To install this Insta-Mount, simply slide the adapter plate (the shorter piece) onto the dovetailed rail found on the right – hand side of your rifle’s receiver. (As the adapter is precision machined to very close tolerances, it may be necessary to tap it on with a hardwood block or some other non marring tool.( DO NOT use a brass or steel hammer, as this will mark the plate). Slide this plate forward on the dovetail rail until you can see the cut away portion of the rail through the tapped hole in the side of the plate. Put the 10-32 cone set screw into this hole and tighten moderately, (Until key, found in the scope ring package, begins to torque).
2. Install the Insta-Mount base, using the two allen-type cap screws included. Tighten these 2 screws alternately, and quite tightly.
3. Install scope rings, following instructions found on the package, try to point the scope properly using the windage slotted holes of the base.
4. You are now ready for range testing of your Insta-Mounted rifle.
